The repair crews on site are currently formulating a new plan moving forward to successfully and completely pull the slack fiber the full 2,000 feet, and have advised the next update will be issued at approximately 05:00 GMT.
Date: 2014-07-26 08:07:15 UTC The Transport NOC has advised that the construction crew on site continues to work to excavate the manhole that is 10 feet deep and have encountered a water line that has slowed progress as they have had to work around it. They are currently working to verify the spare ducts have not also been damaged, and have still been unable to provide an estimated time to begin splicing.
