We have outage on these 3 links which seems to indicate a fibre issue on the Lille metropole.
More info will follow.
Update(s):
Date: 2013-09-23 23:04:57 UTC The temporary repair is complete. All circuits are restored. We are now running the RAMAN settings scripts on Roubaix in order to consider any changes in the specs link.
Date: 2013-09-23 23:03:21 UTC The cut-off was confirmed at 3.6km from our datacentre, at a work zone. Fortunately, only some tube cables were impacted which will allow us to fix them quickly.
A team is currently on the field trying to weld tube fibers damaged with a good tube at the room after the impacted zone .
We will thus be able to avoid links and remount links quickly until we fix it permanently.
Date: 2013-09-23 22:42:47 UTC Following new OTDR tests performed from Roubaix, it seems that the cut-off is much closer than expected and is in fact in Roubaix around 3 or 4km from our datacenters. At this point, it is the fiber network that we own.
This is an assumption that we rejected on the beginning because only some pairs are cut and they are all extended by fibers from the same provider.
A new test will be carried out soon with more accurate equipment that will validate this assumption.
Date: 2013-09-23 14:50:55 UTC We estimate that the cut on the fibre is at Lomme, not far from Euratechnologie. We're waiting for definitive confirmation from the cable engineer. No ETR for the time being.
Date: 2013-09-23 13:15:15 UTC The Euratechnologies site has been isolated for the time being.
The links to London and Paris TH2 switched onto the protections
automatically. No impact.
