FS#6496 — ACE rbx-s2
Incident Report for Network & Infrastructure
Resolved
The ACE card of rbx-s2 rebooted. The contexts were automatically taken by s1 and will re-switch progressively to s2

Update(s):

Date: 2012-03-16 12:53:01 UTC
The SSH access was reactivated on the private vlans.

We have an attack on the SSH port of the ACE. Since the SSH is managed in software and that the CPU Cisco are always very weak, the card is loading.
In 5 minutes the watchdog reboots the card. It's not possible to de-activate the watchdog (a bug ...)

Right now, we are looking for the best solution to give SSH access again to the contexts.
The load repartition works normally.

Date: 2012-03-15 20:45:02 UTC
We de-activated the SSH connections.

Date: 2012-03-15 16:55:19 UTC
s1 crashed during the switch causing the interruption of some contexts during a few seconds (just the time to finish the restarting of all the contexts on s2)

The situation is stabilizing. The contexts are split on the 2 infrastructures.

We detected traces to identify the origin of these overloads.

On the other hand, we are going to add a new couple of ACE30 and expand a part of the contexts on these new cards.
